Patiala Film Festival Awards 2025
1. General Guidelines
Festival Date: 25th October 2025
Venue: Patiala, Punjab
Submissions Open: Now | Deadline: 01 November 2025
All films must be submitted through our official website: www.patialafilmfestival.com
The decision of the festival Management will be final and binding.
2. Eligibility
Films completed after January 1, 2024 are eligible.
Open to independent filmmakers, students, and professionals.
All genres and themes are accepted.
Multiple entries are allowed, but each entry requires a separate submission.
3. Categories
1. Best Short Film (Up to 40 mins)
2. Best Documentary
3. Best Web Series
4. Best Music Video
5. Audience Choice Award
4. Technical Requirements
Films must be submitted in MP4 / MOV format.
Resolution: Minimum 1080p (Full HD).
Subtitles in Punjabi/Hindi are mandatory if the film is in another language.
Ensure the film does not contain any copyright violations (music, footage, etc.).
5. Submission Rules
Submit your film via Google Drive / WeTransfer / Youtube link through our official form.
Full HD Trailer and Poster for Promotion(Vertical and horizontal Both) are compulsory for submission.
Once submitted, the film cannot be withdrawn.
No Submission fees, It is Free
6. Selection Process
Films will be previewed by the Selection Committee.
Shortlisted films will be screened at the festival.
Winners will be decided by Selection Committee.
7. Awards & Recognition
Official Trophy & Certificate to category winners.
All selected filmmakers will receive an Official Selection Certificate.
Winning films may be promoted on our social media handles with due credit.
8. Legal Terms
By submitting, filmmakers grant the festival the right to use film excerpts, posters, and trailers for promotional purposes.
The festival does not claim ownership of submitted content. Rights remain with the filmmaker/producer.
21. Disclaimer
1) All disputes in respect of any matter relating to the PFF shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts and forums in Patiala City only.
